Hi Dan

Yes i fallowed the info from the web page and used macports. I then
found out that the 10.5.5 update broke x11 for osx. So i downloaded x
quarts
and all is working just fine.

Awesome!  May I ask how you did that?  Did you follow the instructions
no the web page for building the packages from macports?
